Louisville Earns 4-1 Win Over New Philadelphia – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team earned a 4-1 victory over the visiting New Philadelphia Quakers Thursday at Louisville High School. With their third straight victory, Louisville improves their record to 9-4.
The Lady Leopards won all three singles matches in straight sets. Rachel Kibler won #1 singles by the perfect count of 6-0, 6-0. Jo Menegay also earned a 6-1, 6-2 victory in #2 singles and Sherilynn Mullett won #3 singles 6-3, 6-1.
The #1 Louisville doubles team of Amanda Plaskett and Jade Thomas also won a perfect 6-0, 6-0. New Philadelphia’s tandem of Bryante Caldwell and Maggie Prucha took #2 doubles 7-5, 6-3.
The Leopards have now defeated the Quakers twice this season as they shut them out 5-0 in a road match back on August 14 as well. Louisville is now 10-0 against New Philadelphia all-time.
