Lady Leopards Brave Weather, Neutralize New Philadelphia 101-32 in 1st Home Meet – Track & Field

The girls track team defeated New Philadelphia 101-32. The girls won several events and despite the cold weather had some athletes perform with personal bests.
Amelie Anderson, Peyton Novosel and McKynzee Riley had personal bests. Anderson in the 1600m, Novosel in the 200 and Riley in the shot put.
The 4 x 800 relay team of Peyton Novosel, Nora Kiko, Olivia Roberts and Amelie Anderson.
Reese Riley in the 100 hurdles, Mickey Salmons in the 100m, Kylah Meyer in the 1600m, the 4 x 100 relay team of Haile Folk, Mickey Salmons, Reese Riley, and Kensington Rode. Reese picked up a third win in the 300 hurdles. Nora Kiko picked up a second win in the 800 meters, while Peyton Novosel earned a second gold in the 200m. Stella Blommel paced her way to a win in the 3200m. Novosel, Riley, Kiko, and Izzy Manko teamed up to win the night’s final race.
In the field event Khali Mille and Bailey Cole both cleared 4’ 4” to earn a tie for first place. Izzy Manko picked up her second victory in the long jump. Finally Taydem Everhart vaulted her way to a win with a jump of 7’ 6”
The girls will travel to Lake High School on Friday to compete in the Lake Rock’em Relays.
