Kylah Meyer broke a state meet record clocking a 10:28.89 in the 3200 to become the first state champion in Lady Leopards Track history and first Louisville Track & Field state champion since 1929. Meyer also took 11th in the 1600 and the 4×800 got value state experience.
Kylah Meyer swept the 1600 and 3200 regional titles with two school records, while Louisville’s 4×800 relay team also qualified for state as the Lady Leopards tied for 10th at the DII North Royalton Regional.
Kylah Meyer won the 1600, 3200, and anchored the champion 4×800 relay team that included Peyton Novosel, Nora Kiko, & Amelie Anderson as the Lady Leopards finished 6th as a team at Districts. Owen DiMarzio finished 3rd in the 100 and 200 to lead the Boys who took 11th.
Owen DiMarzio won the 200 and Ryker Hamid took 1st in the shot put to lead the Louisville Boys to a second place finish at hte Marlington Invitational. The Lady Leopards 4×800 relay team also won as the girls took eighth.
Peyton Novosel and Reese Riley each recorded three first-place finishes to lead the Leopards in their 101-32 home opener win against the visiting Quakers. Amelie Anderson, Novosel, and McKynzee Riley also posted personal bests for the Lady Leopards.
Kylah Meyer won the 800 to lead the Girls to a 5th place finish and Tank Cline finished 2nd in the shot put to lead the Boys to a 4th place finish. The boys 4×100, boys 4×200, and girls 4×800 relay teams also took second at Massillon.
Kylah Meyer placed third at the DII State Meet with the fastest postseason time in program history to conclude her historic Leopard varsity career. Amelie Anderson also took 132nd for Louisville with a time of 20:28.01. Meyer also recorded the fastest time amongst all Stark County runners in all divisions at Fortress Obetz.
Kylah Meyer became a 4-time state qualifier in taking second and Amelie Anderson earned her first state berth with a 53rd place finish to lead the Lady Leopards at the DII Boardman Regional Meet. Louisville finished 25th as a team.
Kylah Meyer took first place in the DI/DII race for the second straight week finishing in 18:19.07 as Louisville took 16th place out of 19 teams a the Milt Place Festival. Amelie Anderson, Madelynn Bailey, Stella Blommel, and Camryn Cline rounded out the Leopards scoring.
Kylah Meyer placed first in DI/DII and finished as the country runner-up overall with a time of 19:03.39 to lead the Lady Leopards in their sixth place finish at the Stark County XC Championship Meet. Amelie Anderson also placed 9th for LHS.
