Leopards Shutout Massillon for 1st Victory – Boys Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team shutout the Massillon Tigers 6-0 to earn their first victory of the season Saturday Afternoon at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the win, Louisville is now 1-4 on the year.
Riley Adams recorded a Hat Trick to lead the Leopards on offense. Louisville Goalie Joe Reynolds earned the shutout to lead the defense and finished with 6 saves.
After only scoring one goal through their first four games of the season, the Leopards lit up the scoreboard for 6 goals against the Tigers. Other goal scorers included Maddox Drake-McKimm, Blake Varner, and Chris Walters. Mason Foley also had a pair of assists and Kael Mickley added an assist for LHS as well.
With the victory, Louisville has now won the last 6 meetings against Massillon overall and the last 9 matches in the series at home. The Leopards now lead the all-time series 18-1-2 which includes a 9-1-1 record when the series is played at Louisville. The Tigers are also the Leopards first opponent to give up 100 goals in matches against them. Louisville has now outscored Massillon 100-30 all-time and shut them out 7 times.
