Rod Hall Notches 150th Career Win as Leopards Down Dukes – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team defeated the visiting Marlington Dukes 4-1 Wednesday Morning at Louisville High School. With the victory, Louisville remains unbeaten at 3-0 on the season.
Lady Leopards singles winners included Rachel Kibler in #1 singles and Sherilynn Mullett in #3 singles. Kibler won her match in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 and Mullett followed suit with a dominating 6-1, 6-1 victory.
In doubles action, the Louisville duo of Amanda Plaskett and Jade Thomas also won in straight sets 6-4, 6-3 to claim #1 doubles. Carleen Fouts and Bailey Menegay also earned the victory in #2 doubles by a 6-2, 1-6, 6-1 count.
The Dukes only point of the match came via Stella McConnell who defeated Jo Menegay 6-3, 6-3 in #2 singles.
The win was the 150th career victory for Louisville Leopards Head Coach Rod Hall who is now 150-32 (.824) in coaching girls tennis. Along with his 183-57 (.763) mark in boys tennis, Hall now holds a combined record of 333-89 (.789) overall as a varsity tennis head coach.
With the victory, Louisville has now defeated Marlington in 19 straight meetings. The Lady Leopards now lead the all-time series over the Dukes 51-20.
