Lady Leopards Down Dukes 4-1 – Girls Tennis

Crislip, DeJacimo, Wyss for Louisville Board of EducationThe Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team downed the host Marlington Dukes 4-1 Thursday. With the victory, Louisville improves to 7-4 overall and now holds a 4-1 mark midway through their NBC schedule.

All four Leopard winners won their matches in straight sets. In singles play, Kennedy Keister took #2 singles 6-1, 6-1 and Jo Menegay claimed #3 singles 6-0, 6-1.

Grove Appliance Alliance Ohio AdThe doubles matches produced similar results as the #1 team of Kat Brown and Sherilynn Mullett won 6-4, 6-3. The #2 doubles team of Mackenzie Murphy and Mandy Plaskett was also victorious 6-2, 6-2.

Lettie Mitchell tallied the Dukes lone point in #1 Singles in two competitive sets 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next compete in the Louisville Doubles Classic on Saturday, September 16 at 9:00 AM.
