The Louisville Leopards JV Boys Soccer Team opened up the season with a 3-2 victory over the visiting Marlington Dukes Saturday at Louisville Leopards Stadium.

Lowder Scores Twice, Kibler Nets Late PK

Jenny Can Cleaning AdFreshman Damien Lowder scored a pair of goals to lead the Leopards. Lowder’s first goal was assisted by freshman Adler LaScola and the second goal came via freshman Ethan Lewis.

With the game tied 2-2, sophomore Ryan Kibler connected on a penalty kick with 1:47 left to put Louisville in front. The Leopards defense held the rest of the way to earn the 3-2 victory.

Leopards JV Has Now Won 3 Straight Vs. Dukes

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdThe Louisville JV Team has now defeated the Marlington JV team in three straight meetings dating back to last season. The Leopards won both matchups last year 2-1. To put in in perspective, LHS has only defeated the Dukes twice in 26 total games played in the varsity series that began in 2000.
