Louisville Speech & Debate Team at the Perry Tournament

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdLast weekend the Louisville High School Speech and Debate Team competed at the 61st annual Perry High School tournament and had good success. Tayleigh Folden was the champion of Declamation, and Taryn Allgood and Jessie Stewart received top ranks in their categories. The team will be competing this weekend at the Wooster Tournament.

Warren John F. Kennedy Tournament

The Louisville High School Speech and Debate Team competed last weekend at Warren John F. Kennedy High School and received 8th place in team sweepstakes! Placers at the tournament include: Noah Capo, who was the champion in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Taryn Allgood, who got 4th place in Declamation, Joey Duncan, who got 7th in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Kenna Dunlap, who got 8th place in Program Oral Interpretation, Isaiah Gray, who got 9th place in Congressional Debate, and Beth Balough, who got 10th place in Program Oral Interpretation.

GlenOak Novice Tournament

The Louisville High School Speech and Debate Team competed at the Glenoak Novice Tournament this weekend with novice members competing and varsity members judging. In Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Joey Duncan got 3rd place and Mia Peloso got two wins. Kaylyn Butler got 4th place in Dramatic Interpretation. The team continues to prepare for their upcoming varsity tournament next weekend at John F. Kennedy High School.
