Louisville 10, Canton South 3
Louisville used a 7-run third inning to turn a close contest into a convincing 10-3 win over host Canton South Thursday. With the victory, the Lady Leopards improved to 10-4 overall and 8-0 in the conference.
Grace Jackson went 2-for-4 with a Grand Slam and a Double to lead Louisville. Keri Hupp also went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 runs batted in. Emily Cantley, Amy Hoover, and Annie Woolf had 2 hits each as well.
In the circle, Kirsten Wharmby pitched a complete game and struck out 8 to improve to 5-2 on the season.
With the victory, the Leopards have now defeated the Wildcats 12 straight times and lead the all-time series 42-20.
