Youngstown Chaney 63, Louisville 50
The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team fell on the road against the host Youngstown Chaney Cowboys 63-50. With the loss, Louisville falls to 11-6 on the year.
Collin Chambers hit a pair of three-pointers and scored a team-high 14 points to lead the Leopards. Dakota Hoffman also made two triples in breaking double digits with 11. Scotty Gronow added 9 for Louisville as well.

The Leopards were only able to convert a pair of field goals in each of the first two quarters as the Cowboys took command of the contest. Chaney led 19-6 after one and 36-11 at the half. Louisville cut into the deficit in the second half by outscoring the Cowboys 16-12 in the third, and 23-15 in the fourth, but it would not be enough to overcome Chaney’s first half advantage.
The Cowboys were led by Travis Easterly who scored a game-high 17 points. Sharrod Taylor also made 3 three-pointers and finished with 11. William Brown also scored 9 and Quincy Jones added 8.
This is the second meeting between the two schools. Louisville defeated Chaney 63-51 at home last season.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next take on the Cleveland James Rhodes Rams on Saturday, February 1 as part of the Kosta Koufous Classic. Game time is set for 5:00 PM from GlenOak High School.
