Leopards Rally to Win Battle of Louisville at St. Thomas Aquinas – Volleyball
Louisville 22-25-9-25-15, St. Thomas Aquinas 25-18-25-21-11
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team rallied for a 22-25, 25-18, 9-25, 25-21, 15-11 victory on the road agains the crosstown St. Thomas Aquinas Knights Tuesday Evening at STAHS. With their second straight victory, Louisville is now 4-9 on the year.
Paige Cole led the Leopards defense with match high 13 digs and team-high 6 blocks. The Louisville offense was led by Cami Nau who threw down a match leading 13 kills.
Other leaders included Lauren Siegfried who was the Leopards leading server with 12 points and a match high 4 aces. Amanda Clark also led Louisville with 20 assists.
St. Thomas was led by DiGiambattista and Myers. DiGiambattista was the leading server for the match with 13 points, 3 aces, and also tallied 12 digs on defense. Myers finished with 7 kills and a match high 7 blocks. Moeglin also led all players with 31 assists for the Knights.
JV: Louisville 25-25, St. Thomas Aquinas 7-7
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders on Thursday, September 27. JV will begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 6:00 PM.
