My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdThe Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball earned a 61-39 road victory over the host South Range Raiders Friday Night at South Range High School. With the victory, Louisville remains unbeaten on the young season at 2-0.

Junior guard Will Aljancic hit 5 three-pointers in the opening half and scored all of his game-high 24 points during the first three quarters of action to lead the Leopards. Sophomore guard Hayden Nigro also poured in 12 of his 22 points in the second half to help close the deal for Louisville in their road opener.


Leopards Trail Once and Never Look back

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdThe Leopards responded to their only deficit of the night with a 13-4 run to end the opening period. LHS doubled up the Raiders 16-8 by the end of the first quarter.

Aljancic made 3 of his 5 three-pointers in the second quarter. Nigro also went a perfect 6-for-6 from the line in the second stanza as Louisville extended its advantage to 33-19 by halftime.


Louisville Builds 53-28 Third Quarter Lead

Jenny Can Cleaning AdThe Leopards came out of the locker room on a mission to put the game in the left hand column. Louisville outscored South Range 20-9 in the third quarter led by Nigro who dropped in 9 points for the period. LHS took a 53-28 advantage into the fourth quarter and iced the game from there on their way to a 22-point, 61-39 victory. 


Moore and Turvey Lead Raiders

The Raiders (0-2) were led by Landon Moore and Dylan Turvey who scored a team-high 8 points each. Zac Smith also scored 6 and Jared Kluciner added 5 for SHS.

This was the first ever matchup between Louisville and South Range in boys basketball 

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to take on the Alliance Aviators on Tuesday, December 7. JV will begin at 5:30 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:00 PM.
