The Louisville Leopards Girls Basketball Team fell to the host McDonald Blue Devils 61-24 Tuesday Night. With the loss, Louisville drops to 3-7 on the season.
Senior Paige Cole and junior Kendal Loy scored a team-high 6 points each to lead the Lady Leopards. Freshman Brooke Haren also scored 5 points and senior Sherilynn Mullett added 4 for LHS.
Howard Leads Blue Devils With Game-High 18
The Blue Devils jumped out to a 16-10 lead after the first quarter and rolled from there. McDonald would outscore Louisville 45-14 over the course of the final three quarters on their way to victory.
Senior Molly Howard hit 2 three-pointers and scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Lady Blue Devils. Senior Sophia Costantino also made 3 three-pointers in finishing with 12 and senior Maddy Howard reached double figures with 10.
This was the first ever meeting between the two schools in girls basketball.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Marlington to take on the Dukes on Wednesday, January 20. JV will begin at 5:30 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:00 PM.
