The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team fell to the host Lake Blue Streaks 45-11 Tuesday Night at Lake High School. Louisville finishes the regular season with a record of 13-9 as a result.
Spencer Hall scored a game-high 10 points to lead the Leopards. Cam King also hit 3 three-pointers to finish with 9 and Colton Jones made a pair of triples to add 6.
Louisville led 9-6 at the end of the first quarter, but managed only a single field goal in the second quarter. Lake outscored them in that period 14-2 to take a 20-11 lead at the break. The Blue Streaks had the Leopards doubled up 34-17 by the end of three before Louisville outscored them 14-11 in the final stanza.
Lake (14-7) was led by JJ Vaughn who made 2 three-pointers and scored 8 of his game-high 10 points in the third quarter. Maranville and Osbourne also scored 9 each for the Blue Streaks.
Lake has now won 3 straight against Louisville and 7 of their past 9 meetings overall. The Blue Streaks now lead the all-time series 21-12 dating back to their first known meeting in 1980.
