Louisville Earns Shutout at Carrollton – Girls Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Soccer Team blanked the host Carrollton Warriors 3-0 Thursday Night at Community Field. With the victory, Louisville improves to 4-3-2 overall and remains unbeaten in the NBC at 4-0.
The Leopards Kayla Gibson broke the ice early with a first half goal via an assist from Megan Chatelain. Louisville would ride that 1-0 lead into the break.
Hannah Baughman would score a pair of goals to put the game away in the second half. She cut and scored via a pass from Megan Hampe to put the Leopards up 2-0 with 21:32 to play. She then added a second insurance goal off an assist from Jamacyn Davis in the waning seconds of the 68th minute to make it 3-0 Louisville.
Kenzie Brown, Megan Dorosky, and Lily Jones combined in goal for the Leopard shutout. Louisville has now held Carrollton scoreless in 4 consecutive meetings and 10 times overall. The Lady Leopards have also won 7 straight contests against the Warriors and lead the all-time series 13-0-1 with a 65-5 goal differential. Louisville has never lost at Carrollton in upping their road mark in the series to 7-0.

Gabriella Smith and Tapanga Smith each scored a pair of goals for the Leopards JV team in a 4-0 shutout of the host Warriors. Louisville JV is now 5-1-2
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the West Branch Warriors on Wednesday, September 27. JV will begin at 5:00 PM and Varsity will follow at 7:00 PM.
