Leopards Win Streak Snapped at Central Catholic – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team fell to the host Canton Central Catholic Crusaders 3-2 Thursday. The loss snaps the Lady Leopards 6-match winning streak as they dip to 12-5 on the year.
Louisville’s only points came from singles wins. Rachel Kibler dropped the first set of #1 singles 2-6, but then rallied to win her final two sets by a perfect 6-0 count to take the match. Sherilynn Mullett won #3 singles in straight sets 6-0, 6-1 for the Leopards.
The Lady Crusaders won both doubles matches by a score of 6-2, 6-1. Winning teams included Ava Anderson and Rachel Smith in #1 doubles and Peyton Crumpler and Eloama Deam in #2 doubles.
Louisville has now lost three straight against Central Catholic and dropped 8 of the last 9 against the Crusaders overall. The Leopards still lead the all-time series 15-11.
