Louisville Carves Up Canfield in Opener 31-12 – Freshman Football

The Louisville Leopards Freshman Football Team carved up the host Canfield Cardinals 31-12 Thursday in the season opener.
Elliot Tornow led the Leopards by catching 2 touchdown passes and returning a kickoff 82 yards for another score. Quarterback Tyler Jackson bombed an 82 yard touchdown pass to Tornow in the second quarter and also found Tornow for a 7 yard strike in the fourth quarter. Altogether, Tornow accounted for 24 Louisville points as he also booted home a 26 yard field goal and successfully made all 4 of his extra point attempts.

Daniel Kennedy ran in the Leopards first touchdown of the game on a 2 yard run. This kickstarted 17 straight Louisville points to begin the game.
