Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdThe Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team fell on the road to the Division I #7 ranked Boardman Spartans 59-35 Tuesday Night at Boardman High School. With the loss, Louisville falls to 12-7 on the year. 

The Leopards scoring was spread evenly across the team. Will Aljancic, Collin Chambers, Colton Jones, and Cory Noble all scored a team-high 6 points each to lead Louisville.

Dakota Hoffman’s first quarter three-pointer proved to be the only Leopards points in the opening period as the Division I ranked Spartans jumped out to a 17-3 advantage. Boardman extended their led to 30-9 by halftime. A pair of three-balls by Jones allowed Louisville to edge the Spartans in the third 14-13, before Boardman outscored the Leopards 16-12 in the fourth.

My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdThe Spartans (18-1) were led by Derrick Anderson who scored in every quarter en rout to a game-high 20 points. Tommy Fryda also hit 4 first half three-pointers to finish with 12 and Trey Dipietro tacked on 6 for Boardman.

The Leopards have now lost 4 of their last 5 meetings against the Spartans and are 0-4 at Boardman since the most recent series resumed 2015. Louisville trails the all-time series 8-19 dating back to 1933 when both teams were in the Tri-County League.
