The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Soccer team fell on the road against the Archbishop Hoban Knights Saturday Night at Dowed Field. With the loss, Louisville drops to an even 1-1-1 on the season.

Burton Scores Lone Goal for the Leopards
Trailing 2-0 in the second half, Carter Burton got the Leopards on the board via an assist by Damien Lowder. The goal was Burton’s second of the season as he matches Nick Johnston and Will Pochubay for the team lead in goals scored.
The Knight took a 1-0 lead into the half despite their goalkeeper drawing a red card for a deliberate handball outside the box. Down a man, Hoban still managed to go ahead 2-0 before Burton’s goal. The Knights then resumed full command of the contest by converting a penalty kick to make it 3-1.
Louisville Vs. Hoban Boys Soccer Series
The Leopards are now 0-4-1 against the Knights all-time dating back to their first meeting in 2002. Louisville is now 0-2 when playing at Akron in the series with their only other trip to Hoban a 5-0 shutout loss in their first matchup on October 12, 2002.
Hoban is now 1-3 on the season. They lost to Green, Medina Highland, and GlenOak to begin their season prior to Saturday.

The Leopards JV Team shutout the host Knights 2-0 Saturday Evening. With the win, Louisville JV improves to 2-0-1 on the season.
Maddox Mayle found the back of the net in each half to lead the Leopards. Parker Daum recorded the assist on both goals.
Mason Ivey and Justin Keister combined for the shutout in goal for LHS. Ivey kept a clean sheet in the first half and Keister followed suit in the second half.
