Competitive Game Ends In Walkoff As Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 Falls To GlenOak Varsity Golden Eagles

Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 fell to GlenOak Varsity Golden Eagles 5-4 on Monday on the final play of the game. GlenOak Varsity Golden Eagles were down 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Olivia Renicker singled, scoring two runs.
Leah Claugus homered in the third and fifth innings. Overall the 3-hole hitter went 3-4 while driving in two and scoring two runs.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 were the first to get on the board in the first when Addy Campbell singled, scoring one run.
Lexie Groves homered to center field following a 7-pitch at-bat, which helped GlenOak Varsity Golden Eagles tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.
A solo home run to center field by Claugus gave Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 the lead, 2-1, in the top of the third.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 added to their lead with two runs in the top of the fifth inning thanks to home runs by Claugus and Campbell.
Renicker hit a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the sixth for the GlenOak Varsity Golden Eagles.
GlenOak Varsity Golden Eagles jumped into the lead in the bottom of the seventh when Gianna Papaleo drew a walk, scoring one run, and Renicker singled, scoring two runs.
Taylor Schneider stepped in the circle first for Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025. The starter gave up seven hits and five runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out eight and walking four. Savanna Eccard opened the game for GlenOak Varsity Golden Eagles. The pitcher surrendered seven hits and three runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out none and walking three.
Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 amassed 10 hits in the game. Campbell and Claugus were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025. Katelynn Miller collected two hits for Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 in three at bats. Louisville Leopards Varsity 2025 turned one double play in the game.
Renicker drove the middle of the lineup, leading GlenOak Varsity Golden Eagles with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Kendall Krum and Renicker each collected two hits for GlenOak Varsity Golden Eagles. GlenOak Varsity Golden Eagles turned one double play in the game. GlenOak Varsity Golden Eagles were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Renicker had the most chances in the field with seven.
