The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball team earned a straight-set victory over the Carrollton Warriors Monday evening, winning 25-13, 31-29, 25-16. With the victory, the Lady Leopards improve to 4-3 on the season.

Second Set Rally Defines the Night

Louisville came out strong with a convincing 25-13 win in the opening set, but the second frame turned into a battle. The Leopards trailed 23-18 before storming back to tie the set at 24-all. From there, Louisville and Carrollton traded points until the Leopards finally prevailed 31-29 — their second 30-point set win this season. Louisville carried that momentum into the third, finishing off the match with a dominant 25-16 victory.

Balanced Contributions Across the Board

Dakota Gross led the Louisville attack with 13 kills and added 2 aces to her stat line. Mabel Kiko continued her steady presence at the net with 8 kills and 4 blocks, while Karis Miglich delivered a spark from the service line, notching 13 service points, 2 aces, and 9 digs in the win.

Program Sweep

The Leopards earned victories at all three levels Monday. The JV team defeated Carrollton in three sets 25-13, 23-25, 25-17 to move to 2-3 on the season, while the freshmen improved to a perfect 4-0 with a 25-16, 20-25, 25-8 triumph.
