Haley Black and Marissa Vick each scored 4 goals to lead the Leopards offense. Vick also tallied an assist and recorded 4 ground balls. Other leaders included Katie Hollifield and Mandy Wesely who both finished with a hat trick, an assist, and a team leading 5 groundballs. Wesely also won 11 of 18 draws for the match.

In a total team effort, 11 different Leopards scored goals and 7 different Louisville players added assists. Shelby Lewis, Kloe Mercorelli, Amanda Vesely, and Megan Vesely each had 1 goal and 1 assist a piece. Other single goal scorers included Maddie Bates, Cameron English, and Maddie Kirby.

The Leopard defense dominated in allowing very little scoring opportunities for the Spartans. Lia Meckel finished with all 3 saves in the net for Louisville. Her, along with fellow goalies Kayle Brown and Lily Jones, combined for their second straight shutout. LHS has now outscored their competition 40-0 through their first two games in as many days.

The 21 points ties the all-time team record previously set in a 21-5 victory on the road at GlenOak on May 4, 2017. The 21-point margin of victory is also a new school record which eclipses the previous 19-point margin set on Friday in Louisvilleā€™s 19-0 victory over GlenOak.

The Leopards are now 2-0 against the Spartans all-time with both matches being played at Boardman. Louisville has outscored the Spartans 37-5 in those two matches. The two teams will meet up again when the Lady Leopards host Boardman on Monday, April 23.
