Colts 12, Lions 8
It wasn’t pretty, but the Colts found a way to finish the season undefeated once again with a 12-8 victory over the scrappy Lions.
The Lions took an 8-0 first half lead to start the contest. Dillon Deckerd sacked Colts quarterback Tyler Adams in the endzone for safety to make it 2-0. Then Lions Quarterback Cole Weston hooked up with Casey Nau for a score to give the Lions an 8-0 lead with 3:00 left in the second.
The Colts answered the bell though. Adams found Michael Seaman for a touchdown with just 29 seconds remaining the first half and the same combination scored again in the third quarter. The Colts defense shutout the Lions the rest of the way to help the Colts go 6-0 for the season, while dropping the Lions to an even 3-3.
