Leopards Win Louisville Doubles Classic, 1st Time Since 2006
Louisville – 21 (1st Out of 8)
The Leopards Boys Tennis Team won their host Louisville Doubles Classic this past Saturday in winning 2 of the 3 Flite’s overall. Louisville finished with 21 total team points, last year’s champion Perry scored 13, and Lake took third with 8 points.
Jake Pukys and Nick Knebl defeated Canton Central Catholic’s Alec Bird & Michael Murphy 6-4, 7-5 to win the Flite 1 Championship for the Leopards.
In Flite 2, Alex Hall & Hunter Williams won the consolation match 7-5, 6-2 over Marlington’s Clayton Schrock and Pat Siripanich. Andy Hall & Vic Knebl also won the Flite 3 Championship over the Dukes’ Tyler Redinger & Jarret Ochsendorf.
