Leopards Win Inaugural NBC Swim Meet
Both the Boys and Girls Leopards Swim Teams claimed first place in the first ever NBC Swim Meet at Alliance on Friday. The Boys racked up 162 points to surpass second place Alliance who scored 126, while the Girls tallied 187 points in eclipsing the second place Aviators who scored 62.
The Lady Leopards took first place in every event except for one during their domination of the pool. Allison Richmond recorded the highest time for all swimmers (both boys and girls) in both 
the 200 Yard Freestyle (2:04.78) and the 500 Yard Freestyle (5:40.96). Amy Yu also captured two first place finishes in the 200 Yard IM (2:32.49) and 100 Yard Backstroke (1:09.18). Also winning individual events were Tina Yu in the 100 Yard Fly (1:07.97), Alaina Hartley in the 100 Yard Freestyle (1:02.41), and Ashley Smith in the 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:18.52).
The Louisville girls swept all three relay races that included the 200 Yard Medley (Amy Yu, Ashley Smith, Tina Yu, Allison Richmond) in 2:04.36, the 200 Yard Freestyle (Alaina Hartley, Rachel Morris, Angela Godwin, Coutney Guiley) in 1:55.26, and the 400 Yard Freestyle (Ashley Brookens, Rachel Morris, Alaina Hartley, Allison Richmond) in 4:09.49.
Caleb Walters led the Boys Squad with individual victories in the 200 Yard IM (2:25.63) and the 500 Yard Freestyle (5:42.90). Also winning individual events were Sebastian Swarts in the 200 Yard Freestyle (2:16.60), Alex Wesely in the 100 Yard Fly (1:01.49), and Keegan Ossler who broke under a minute in the 100 Yard Freestyle (58.70).
The Boys also captured first place in two realy events. These included the 200 Yard Medley (Sebastian Swartz, Caleb Walters, Alex Wesely, Keegan Ossler) in 2:00.04 and the 400 Yard Freestyle (Alex Wesely, Caleb Walters, Jon Grimm, Keegan Ossler) in 3:55.30.
In dual meets this season, the Boys Swim Team is 5-5 overall and the Girls are 7-3 overall. Full Results from all meets to date are listed below.
