Leopards Leave a Strong Impression at Wadsworth Invitational Tournament – Speech & Debate
LMS Congress Team at Wadsworth Tournament
Our Middle School congress team had a very successful Friday evening at the Wadsworth tournament. Joseph Duncan received first place with Dylan Balough right behind him receiving second. Our other placers were Chloe Millard in 3rd place, Isaiah Gray in 4th place and Dominic Capo in 9th place.
LHS Takes 3rd Place at Wadsworth Tournament
Our Highschool Team was also very successful this weekend at Wadsworth. They received some of their highest ranks yet this season as the team was awarded 3rd place in team sweepstakes! Robert Duncan got 2nd place in Lincoln Douglas debate with a 5-0 undefeated record, receiving his third bid to state. Emma Patterson in Congress got fifth place, Tayleigh Folden received fifth place in Declamation and our Duo Maggie and Megan Begue received 9th place. Also earning top ranks and winning rounds were Gavin Millard, Katie George, Jessie Stewart, and Carolina Ivey.
Leopards will be back in action December 14 at Tusky Valley! Good luck Leps!
