Leopards Show Clutch in Home Scrimmages
The Louisville Leopards, Padua Bruins, and Youngstown Ursuline Irish competed in a three-team Boys Basketball scrimmage Monday at Louisville High School. The three squads faced off in 11 eight minute sessions that featured a running clock until the final minute that included normal timing.
The Leopards won 3 of their 4 sessions against the Bruins, but fell in all four sessions to the Irish. Ursuline also defeated Padua in all three sessions they played making them a perfect 7-0 for the night.

Pavin Parks Game-Winning Fast Break
In the first session, Louisville erased a 7-2 deficit by scoring the final 7 points of the contest. In the final seconds, Joe Crank forced a loose ball that was retrieved by Pavin Parks. Parks drove all the way to the hole for the lay-in to give the Leopards the game at 9-7.
Jake Adams Game-Winning 3-Pointer
The Leopards showed clutch again in the seventh session against the Bruins. Jake Adams hit a three-pointer to put Louisville ahead 9-6 with 1.3 seconds remaining. A foul after the shot also sent Drew Noble to the line for a 1-and-1 opportunity. Noble buried both free throws to seal the 11-6 victory for the Leps.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next open the regular season season up at home against the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders on Tuesday, December 4. JV will Tip Off at 6:00 PM and Varsity will follow at approximately 7:30 PM. Freshman will open the season up at Carrollton’s Bell-Herron Gym on Monday, December 3 at 5:30 PM.
