Leopards Leap Over Larger Schools to Capture 6th as a Team
Louisville – 6th
The Louisville High School Speech and Debate team had a very successful day at the Tusky Valley tournament December 14th. As a team overall, the group received 6th place team sweepstakes, ranking over many larger schools.
We had placers from many different categories as well. Gavin Millard placed 2nd in humorous interpretation. Tayleigh Folden received 4th and Taryn Allgood received 6th place, both in Declamation. Carolina Ivey received 4th place in POI (Program oral interpretation) and David Frazier in Congress received 4th place as well. Also receiving top ranks this weekend were Harley Nunez and Nadia Keyes.
The leopards are in action again this weekend as debate students will complete at Glenoak both Friday and Saturday, and speech students will be in competition Saturday at McKinley!
