The Leopards Freshman squad clicked on all cylinders during a 69-13 rout of the Minerva Lions at Louisville Elementary Monday evening. Kyle Ashcraft led the team with 
12 points, while Trevor Burk and Jarett Heater poured in 11 each, and Brock Haren broke double digits with 10.
Louisville took a convincing 31-12 lead into the half and continued to press down on the gas in outscoring Minerva 38-1 in the second half. Ashcraft crashed the boards which led to him scoring 8 of 12 points in the third quarter. Burk also stole several passes in the final quarter in which he scored 9 of his 11 points.
Burk, Matt Eddins, and Anthony Vernier all hit three-pointers during the Leopard onslaught. Vernier finished with 8 points for Louisville as well.
The Leopards defense only allowed the Lions to make five field goals for the entire game. Three of those were made by the Lions’ Shem Haas who scored a team-high 6 points.
Louisville is now 11-2 overall and 10-0 in the NBC. Since the 7th grade this Freshman class is 44-0 against NBC foes.
