Leopards Duked by Marlington on Senior Night 44-24
Marlington 44, Louisville 24
The Leopards lost a hard-fought match to the Marlington Dukes 44-24 Thursday evening at Louisville High School. Earning victories by pin for the Leopards were Marshall Mason, Dakota Oliver, and Todd Bradley.
Early Leopard victories included a 9-2 decision by Dane Dugan (145) and an emotional 11-4 decision by Mark Robison (160). Mason (170) did not mess around in the next 
match either as he earned a pin in just 23 seconds to give the Leopards a 12-7 lead.
The Dukes would answer back by winning the next 4 matches to take a 29-12 lead. Both Ryan St. John (182) and Ben Higgins (285) earned victories by fall for Marlington during the run.
Marlington also got a big break in the 220 match when Louisville’s Terry Gooch had to leave early in the second round because of an injury. His match with Marlington’s Jerrod Webb had been even up to that point before he was forced to lose by default.
In the lower weight classes, each team recorded a pair of pins. For the Leopards it was Oliver (106) in 1:43 and Bradley (120) in the third round at 4:47. Brandon Haines (113) and Dylan Bylene (5:50) recorded pins for the Dukes that solidified their victory.
With the loss, the Leps are now 4-10 overall and 1-4 in the NBC. After multiple upcoming tournaments, the Leopards will hit the road for their final two NBC dual meets against Salem and Alliance.
