Louisville Sweeps Singles Matches in 3-2 Win Over Lake – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team edged the visiting Lake Blue Streaks 3-2 Thursday Evening at Louisville High School. With the victory, Louisville is now 10-4 on the season.
The Lady Leopards won all three singles matches in straight sets. Rachel Kibler led Louisville’s efforts by taking #1 singles 6-3, 6-1. Jo Menegay also won #2 singles 6-1, 6-1 and Sherilynn Mullett earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory in #3 singles.
The Blue Streaks won both doubles matches. Kali Aten and Emma Moorhead rallied for a 4-6, 6-0, 7-5 win in #1 doubles. The #2 Lake doubles team of Isabella Schulsteis and Kylie Bowen also won in straight sets 6-0, 6-1.
With the victory, the Leopards have now won 11 straight matches against the Blue Streaks with the last three coming via 3-2 victories. Louisville now leads the all-time series 30-4.
