Beatty's Sports Football 2018 Schedule Shirt T-ShirtThe Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Basketball Team defeated the Lake Blue Streaks 45-42 Tuesday Night at Louisville High School. With the victory, Louisville improves to 14-7 on the season and evens their mark at 2-2 against Federal League opponents for the year.

Collin Chambers scored a team-high 16 points to lead the Leopards. Scotty Gronow also dropped in 12 and Dakota Hoffman added 7.

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdLouisville led at the end of every quarter taking an 11-8 lead at the end of the first and a 21-19 lead by halftime. The Leopards distance themselves from the Blue Streaks in the third in outscoring them 15-10 to take a 36-29 advantage.

The Blue Streaks rallied in the fourth quarter getting within 43-40 with under a minute to play. But Chambers broke free for a fast break layup with under 30 seconds left in the game to put Louisville back in front by two possessions at 45-40. Lake was unable to tie the contest in the end.

My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdThe Blue Streaks (5-17) were led by JJ Vaughan who hit home 5 three-pointers in scoring a game-high 19 points. Tyson Blosser also scored 9 and Logan Fedor scored 6 for Lake.

The victory snaps the Leopards three game losing streak to the Blue Streaks in each of the past three seasons. Louisville still trails the all-time series 13-21.

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the New Philadelphia Quakers on Friday, February 21 for Senior Night! JV will begin at 6:00 PM and Varsity will follow around 7:30 PM.
