The Louisville Lady Leopards defeated the GlenOak Golden Eagles 3-1 at Louisville Leopards Stadium Monday. With the victory, Louisville is now 10-1-1 making it their third straight season with at least 10 wins.

After nearly 35 minutes of scoreless soccer, the Lady Leopards struck with two goals in a span of 2:15 Beatty's Sports Leopard Skin Grey Hoodieto take control of the contest. After a long pass by Sami Keefe, Lizzy Mont broke free for a fast break goal to break the tie with 5:05 left in the first half. For Mont it was her third consecutive game with a goal and her 8th goal of the season.

The second goal came via a give-and-go between Rachel Baughman and Jessica Hamsher. For Baughman, it was her 14th straight game with a goal. GlenOak was actually the last team to hold her scoreless back in the Sectional Semifinals last year on October 15.

Baughman wasn’t finished though as she sped past three Golden Eagle defenders to score her 24th goal of the season. Baughman’s touch was set up by an interception in the Leopards own penalty box by Hamsher and another great long lead pass by Keefe.

With the victory, Louisville has now defeated GlenOak in four straight meetings. The Lady Leopards now lead the all-time series 6-3-3 overall including a 4-2-1 record at Louisville.
