The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team dropped a 7-3 decision to the visiting John Glenn Muskies on Senior Night Friday at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the loss, Louisville has now dropped 5 of its last 6 games falling to 6-9 on the season.

Decost Gives Louisville Early Lead

Gionino's Pizzeria Oakwood - Mobile AdLouisville struck first in the opening quarter when Dillyn Decost scored unassisted with 5:43 left to put the Leopards ahead 1-0. That lead held into the second quarter before John Glenn answered with back-to-back goals from Cooper Fitzgerald and Luke Hanna to move in front 2-1. Parker Daum responded late in the half, finishing an assist from Isaac Johnson with 1:32 remaining to tie the game at 2-2 heading into the break.


John Glenn Takes Control in Second Half

The game remained tight into the third quarter before John Glenn seized momentum for good. Max Morrow scored off an assist from Liam Bayles with 3:28 left in the third, and Hanna followed with a goal in the closing seconds of the period via Fitzgerald to give the Muskies a 4-2 advantage entering the fourth.

John Glenn kept the pressure on in the final quarter. Fitzgerald scored off a feed from Morrow to make it 5-2, and Liam Bayless added another goal less than three minutes later to extend the lead to four. Lucas Sowers supplied the assist on that score.

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdDaum scored his second goal of the night with 3:31 left to cut the deficit to 6-3, but Morrow answered with the game’s final goal to seal the 7-3 win for the Muskies.

John Glenn has now won five of its last six games, improving to 8-8 on the year.


Leopards Remain Winless Vs. Muskies
