Louisville Takes 5th at JFK Lady Eagle Invitational – Girls Golf
Louisville – 354 (5th Out of 22)
The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team competed at the Warren JFK Lady Eagle Invitational Thursday at Trumbull Golf Club. Louisville shot 354 as a team which earned them 5th out of 22 teams at the tournament.
Katie Bice led the Lady Leopards by shooting a team low 85 for the day. Erin Strouse also carded an 89, Madison Gruber and Alexis Ralston both finished with 90, and Abby Davis also shot 91.
The Ashland Arrows ran away from the competition shooting 330, which was 12 strokes ahead of the second place GlenOak Golden Eagles (342). Ashland’s Anna Watson finished as the match medalist in shooting a tournament low 69. The Green Bulldogs (344) also took third and the Jackson Polar Bears (350) finished fourth ahead of Louisville.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next compete in an 18 Hold Quad Meet at Arrowhead Golf Club on Monday, August 12 starting at 8:00 AM. JV will be on the road at Stow on the same day to take on the Bulldogs at Fox Den Golf Course beginning at 10:00 AM.
