Lady Leopards Win Streak Snapped Vs. Jackson – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team fell to the visiting Jackson Polar Bears 4-1 Wednesday Evening at Louisville High School. The loss snaps the Lady Leopards 6 match win streak as they drop to 12-3 on the season.
Rachel Kibler was the only Louisville winner in #1 singles. Kibler fell behind 2-5 in the first set before her opponent Emma Henson had to leave the match.
The Polar Bears were dominate in the rest of the matches. Paige Reese won #2 singles 6-1, 6-0 and Madison Altman took #3 singles 6-0, 6-1
Both Jackson doubles teams also won in straight sets. McKenzie Ecrement and Samantha Reese took #1 doubles 6-1, 6-0. The #2 doubles team of Abby Williams and Rachael Williams also earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory.
With the loss, the Leopards have now lost to the Polar Bears in five straight meetings dating back to 2014. Louisville still holds a 12-11 edge in the all-time series.
