Louisville Finishes 2-1 at Hoover Invitational – Volleyball
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team competed at the North Canton Hoover Invitational this past Saturday. The Lady Leopards won their first two matches against the Orrville Red Riders and Archbishop Hoban Knights before falling to the East Liverpool Potters in their final match. With these results, Louisville is now 7-10 on the season.
Louisville 19-25-25, Orrville 25-21-16
The Lady Leopards rallied for a 19-25, 25-21, 25-16 three set victory over the Orrville Red Riders in their opening match.
Louisville was led on defense by Paige Cole who recorded a team high 6 digs to go along with a team leading 3 blocks. Cami Nau and Lauren Siegfried also led the Lady Leopards with 3 blocks each.
On offense, Erin Hahn was Louisville’s top hitter with 14 kills. The Leopards leading server was Kaitlyn Baskerville with 12 points and Amanda Clark also had a team high 19 assists.
Louisville 25-25, Archbiship Hoban 22-22
Louisville won two close sets against the Archibishop Hoban Knights in their second match by the count of 25-22, 25-22.
The Lady Leopards leading server for the match was Lauren Siegfried with 6 points and 2 aces. Cami Nau also finished with a team-high 8 kills and Louisville’s assist leader was again Amanda Clark with 13.
Paige Cole led the defense with 7 digs and Erin Hahn also registered 3 blocks for the Lady Leopards.
East Liverpool 25-25, Louisville 18-20
Louisville fell in their final match against the East Liverpool Potters 25-18, 25-20.
Kaitlyn Baskerville was the Leopards leader server with 9 points and 1 ace. Amanda Clark also finished with 8 assists and Erin Hahn had a team leading 5 kills for Louisville.
The Lady Leopard were led on defense by Lauren Siegfried who had a team-high 8 digs and Louisville’s only block.
