Henkel Earns 100th Win as Boys Soccer Trounces Tigers

The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team blew past the host Massillon Tigers 10-0 Saturday Afternoon at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium. With the victory, Louisville improves to 9-3-3 on the season.
Bailey Adams scored 4 goals and had an assist to lead the Leopards. Adams achieved Hat Trick status with 2:39 left in the first half. Louisville outshot Massillon 16-0 in the opening forty minutes to take a 3-0 lead into the break.
The Leopards poured it on in the second half in finding the net seven more times. Derek Zeller scored a pair of goals and Matt Perez, Jack Strzyzynski, Bradley Terra, and Jarrett Zwick all scored a goal each.

7 of Louisville’s 10 goals were assisted during the contest. Mitch Perez and Alex Stefanik led the Leopards with 2 assists each. Matt Perez and Strzyzynski also each recorded an assist.
With the victory, Louisville has now won 2 straight meetings against the Tigers and is undefeated in their last 16 meetings against them overall. The Leopards lead the all-time series 14-1-2, which includes a 7-0-1 record in game’s played at Massillon.
With the win, Louisville Head Coach John Henkel has now reached the century mark in career victories. Henkel, who has been at the helm of the program since the end of the 2004 season, now has a coaching record of 100-95-22 (.513). The icing on the cake is that the Leopards have the opportunity to clinch their first ever NBC Title Tuesday Night when they host Canton South.
