The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team was doubled up by the visiting GlenOak Golden Eagles 14-7 Wednesday Evening at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With their fourth consecutive defeat, Louisville drops to 2-5 on the season.

Brumfield and Shadle Both Score Twice

Jenny Can Cleaning AdSeniors Morgan Brumfield and Chloe Shadle both scored a pair of goals each to lead the Lady Leopards. Brumfield has now scored three goals on the season and Shadle has now tallied seven scores for the year.

Juniors Brooke Hubbard, Tess Golden, and Olivia Marcantonio also scored a goal each for Louisville. Hubbard has now scored six goals this season and Golden found the back of the net for the first time since the season opener against Chardon. Marcantonio’s goal was her ninth of the season tying her with junior Kalli Spehar for the team lead.


Leopards Vs. Golden Eagles Girls Lacrosse History

With the result, the Lady Eagles sweep the 2022 season series from the Lady Leopards. Louisville had won their previous eight meetings against GlenOak dating back to the inaugural 2016 season before falling to the Golden Eagles twice in a span of eight days. The Leopards still lead the all-time series 8-3 overall, which includes a 5-2 winning mark when playing at Louisville.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next host the Southeast Pirates on Monday, April 25. Game time is slated for 6:00 PM from Louisville Leopards Stadium.
