The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Soccer Team was shutout by the visiting GlenOak Golden Eagles 2-0 Wednesday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the loss, Louisville falls to 7-4-2 on the season.

GlenOak Turns Away PK and Adds 2 Goals Late
Neither team scored on the first half. GlenOak broke the stalemate in the second half and clinched the victory with a second goal to make it 2-0 with 1:26 remaining.
The Golden Eagle goalkeeper also turned away a Leopard penalty kick just minutes before GlenOak took its first lead.
Golden Eagles Take 5th Straight Vs. Leopards
GlenOak has now defeated Louisville in each of their past five meetings and is unbeaten against the Leopards in their last 9 matchups dating back to 2017. The Leopards last victory against the Golden Eagles was a 4-3 home win on October 8, 2016.
The Lady Leopards now trail the all-time series 9-12-4 overall, which includes a 6-7-1 record when playing at home in the series.
