Girls Soccer Ties Undefeated Minerva 1-1

The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Soccer Team tied the visiting Minerva Lions 1-1 Wednesday Evening at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the draw, Louisville is now 2-3-1 on the season with a 1-0-1 record in league play.
The Leopards got on the board first when Hannah Baughman found the net with 31:49 left in the first half. For Baughman, it was her third goal of the season.
The Lions (3-0-2, 1-0-1) tied the game back up when Josie Chaddock netted a goal just 1:51 before halftime. Both teams battled back-and-forth, but the score held true until the end.
With the tie, Louisville remains unbeaten against Minerva in their past 6 meetings. However, the draw does snap the Leopards 4-game winning streak against the Lions. Louisville is now 8-1-4 against Minerva all-time which includes a 5-1-1 mark at home.
UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next travel to Green to take on the Bulldogs on Saturday, September 12 at 5:00 PM.
