Girls Soccer Storms Past Aviators 6-1
Louisville 6, Alliance 1
The Louisville Leopards Girls Soccer Team finished their suspended match with the Alliance Aviators Thursday Night at Rockhill Elementary School. The Leopards prevailed over the host Aviators 6-1. With the victory, Louisville improves to 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the NBC.
Louisville took a 4-0 lead on Wednesday Night before the game was suspended due to weather conditions with 16:13 remaining in the first half. Hannah Baughman scored a pair of goals before the postponement to lead the Leopards. Baughman scored just 30 seconds into the contest and also in the 10th minutes from a Deana Ross assist.
Other goal scorers on Wednesday included Alyssa Pitts and Megan Chatelain. Pitts scored via an assist from Jenny Hamsher less than five minutes in. Chatelain scored off her own corner kick just before the game was suspended.

When play resumed, the Aviators held the Leopards scoreless for the first 31:17 of gameplay Thursday Night. In that span, Alliance also got on the scoreboard when Yanni Mondy scored unassisted at the 31:19 mark of the second half.
Bri Horton broke the drought to make it 5-1 Louisville with 24:56. Lindsey Bradley also scored off a free kick outside of the box with only 5 seconds left in the game to finalize the score at 6-1.
With the victory, the Leopards have now defeated the Aviators in 6 straight meetings and have won the last 3 at Alliance. Louisville now leads the all-time series 8-4-1, which includes a 3-2-1 record on the road in the series.
