Girls Golf Suffers First Defeat Against Green Machine

Green 320, Louisville 384

The Louisville Lady Leopards Golf Team suffered their first defeat of the season against the visiting Green Bulldogs 320-384 Tuesday in an 18-hole match at Skyland Pines Golf Club. Louisville is now 1-1 on the season.

Sierra Townsend led the Lady Leopards by shooting an 85. Rounding out the scoring for Louisville were Bailey Spring 93, Abby Beaver 96, and Felicity Adkins 110.

The Lady Bulldogs were led by Brooke Babbin who shot a match low 75. Also scoring for Green were Abbie Pearce 78, Michelle Lori 82, and Madison Jackson 85.

The Leopards are now 0-6 against the Bulldogs all-time, which includes an 0-4 mark at Skyland Pines. Louisville’s second opponent Walsh Jesuit cancelled at the last minute.
