Girls Basketball Will Open Tournament Against Walsh Jesuit

The Louisville Lady Leopards drew the 20th Seed in the DI Alliance/North Canton blended District and will face the Walsh Jesuit Warriors on Saturday, February 15 at 1:00 PM.

The two squads have never met in their history. Walsh Jesuit is ranked 9th in the current DI Girls Basketball State Poll and has a 12-4 record overall. Due to the change in the tournament system this game will be held at Walsh Jesuit High School. All games will be played at the higher seeds’ home gym until the District Semifinals & Finals which will be played at Alliance High School.

If Louisville can pull off the upset in the Sectional Semifinals then they will next travel to Jackson to face the #11 Seed Polar Bears on Thursday, February 20 at 7:00 PM. The Lady Leopards are 15-19 all-time against the Jackson, but the two teams have never met in State Tournament play.
