The Louisville Leopards rallied past the visiting Canfield Cardinals for a 46-39 victory Wednesday Night at Louisville High School. Louisville has now won 10 consecutive games and improves to 10-1 on the season.

Canfield held a slight edge after each of the first two quarters before pulling out to a 31-26 lead in the opening minutes of the third. Louisville rallied back to knot the game at 31-31 just a few possessions later. Grace Jackson hit a pair of free throws, Sabryna Benzel had a steal and score, and Hollifield also picked off a pass before hitting the front end of two free throw attempts.
The Cardinals recaptured the lead, but the Leopards struck back to re-tie the game at 33-33 at the end of the third. Lairson tipped away a Canfield pass that found the hands of Jackson. She then threw a pass ahead to the sprinting Lairson who laid it in for two.

Canfield would rally back, but would get no closer than 40-39. Hollifield rolled to the rack with a little over a minute to play to increase the Louisville lead to 42-39. The Leopards defense shutdown the Cardinals the rest of the way and Beaver hit 4 free throws in the final 35.2 seconds to seal the game for Louisville.
Canfield was led by Ashley Kaleel who hit 2 three-pointers and scored a team-high 10 points. Serena Sammarone also scored 9 and Jill Baker & Brittany Coonce added 7 each.
