Freshman Football Runs Table In NBC After Crushing Salem

The Louisville Leopards Freshman Squad trounced the Salem Quakers 47-12 Thursday evening at Louisville Leopards Stadium. Louisville built a 34-6 halftime lead before scoring two additional touchdowns in a second half that featured a continuous clock. With the victory the Leopards finish 8-1 overall and 4-0 in NBC play. The NBC Champion Leps outscored in-conference opposition 160-26 in those four games.
Quarterback Jake Adams completed 18 of 23 passes for 284 yards and 5 touchdowns to give him a total of 2,165 passing yards and 33 touchdowns for the season. Alec Jones also caught 6 passes for 127 yards and 4 touchdowns.
The Leopards other two offensive touchdowns came via Brock Haren through the air and Frankie Falcone on the ground. Haren finished with 5 catches for 79 yards for Louisville. Kyle Ashcraft was the Leps leading rusher with 4 carries for 34 yards.
Dalton Deckerd also ran back an interception 65 yards for a score and booted through an extra point. Adams also completed two passes for two-point conversion.
