Freshman Football Blanks Lake in Scrimmage

The Louisville Leopards Freshman Football Team blanked the visiting Lake Blue Streaks 3-0 in 
scrimmage action Saturday Morning at Louisville Leopards Stadium.
Louisville went to the ground for both of their offensive touchdowns. First, Grayson Beamer scored on an 18 yard touchdown run. Later on, Jax Leonard reached paydirt from 25 yards away.
Late in the scrimmage, the Leopards defense swarmed into the backfield dislodging the ball from the Blue Streaks running back. The ball bounced off the turf and into the hands of Linebacker Sam Macro who would have taken it to the house for the third score (had the play remained live).

UP NEXT: The Leopards Freshman will next travel to Akron Hoban to take on the Knights in a scrimmage beginning at 4:30 PM.
