Freshman Boys Open With Win at Carrollton
Louisville 51, Carrollton 48
Kyle Ashcraft scored 14 points and Alex Hall added 9 points to help lead the Freshman Louisville Leopards Basketball squad to an opening night 51-48 win at Carrollton.
Louisville took control of the contest by taking a 29-14 halftime lead. The Warriors rallied in the fourth quarter by outscoring the Leopards 21-12, but Louisville held on for the 3-point victory.
Conner Bast & Matt Eddins each hit three-pointers. Bast finished with 8 points and Issac Mathie also had 6 for the 1-0 Leopards.
Louisville play their first game ever at the new Louisville Elementary on Thursday, December 6 at 5:00 PM when they host the West Branch Warriors.
