Emily Cantley Signs With Capital University

Emily Cantley Junior Year Softball Highlights

Emily Cantley officially signed with Capital University back on Friday, February 19. Head Coach Chet Givens, Assistant Coaches Scott English & Stephanie Hofener, and Parents Jim & Amy Cantley all witnessed the signing at Louisville High School.

Cantley was 1st Team All-NBC last season and played on the Stark County All-Star Team. She is also a 3-year letter winner in softball and 3-year scholar athlete.

Last season she batted .489 (team-high) with 5 home runs and 41 runs batted in. She also recorded an on-base percentage of .510 (team-high) and a slugging percentage of .809. Her fielding percentage at third base was also .925.

Cantley looks forward to competing in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) in college as a Crusader.
