Boys Malone Invitational – Louisville 27 (1st Out of 11)

The Louisville Leopards Boys Cross Country Team Won the Malone Invitational for the second straight Beatty's Blue Polo 2015season on Saturday. The Leopards finished with 27 total places to capture first place out of 11 competing teams.

All five scoring runners finished in the top ten for Louisville. Noah Chaplik paced the Leopards by placing second with a time of 16:21.6 and Nick Chaplik finished right behind him in third place with a time of 16:21.7.

Noah Murray also took sixth place, Zach Fresenko finished 9th, and Christian Hendricks rounded out the Louisville top five by finishing in 10th.

The Leopards finished 58 places ahead of second place GlenOak. Louisville has now won 4 of the 5 Meets they have competed in this season.

Malone Invitational Full Results

Girls Sandy Valley Invitational – Louisville 108 (3rd Out of 7)

The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Cross Country Team placed 3rd out of 7 Teams in the Large School Division Saturday at the Sandy Valley Invitational. Louisville finished with 108 total places.

Hailey Miller led the Lady Leopards by placing 11th individually with a time of 21:03. Also scoring for Louisville were Ashlee Beaver (13th), Hailey Stertzbauch (25th), Allyssa Warren (30th), and Isabel Kiko (32nd).

UP NEXT: The Leopards will next compete at the Stark County Meet held at GlenOak High School on Saturday, October 3. The Boys Race will start at 11:00 and the Girls Race will begin at 11:40.
